A place to exercise my mind and writing skills, and, hopefully, also a place to focus and direct them.

Return from a Respite
So, I just looked up my old blog and discovered that it was still here! And that I used to be able to write! Mayhaps blogging again would be an excellent exercise in reviving lost writing skills. Time alone shall tell . . .
I don't know if you still check this or not...but I was wondering where you were working on your theology degree. CUA? Dominican House of Studies? I'm in the NoVA area too and have been thinking of doing some graduate work so I was curious.
wow, I just wandered across your blog! You have a blog, and your own brother didn't know about it?!? I guess you don't post to it much anymore, though. Facebook killed it, I guess?
Hi. I don't really know what to do in writing to someone with the same URL, [Google /metanoiete/]; except to say hi. I'm 76 years old and you sound like a very nice person. Best wishes to you in your theological pursuits. Have you ever heard of or read, Thomas Keating. He was my former Abbot. I recommend him. charlie mc
A native of N.W. Ohio, graduate of Ave Maria College in Michigan in Literature and Classics, and current resident of the NoVa / D.C. area, I work for the Church and for the National Park Service while working slowly towards my Masters in Theology and trying to squeeze in time for a bit of a social life, curling up with a good book, or sitting down at the piano!

He he--I shall definitely have to write something now and again if I'm going to have readers!
